Writing with Purpose

Writing is more than about being a writer. It’s my assignment from God and my responsibility to humanity.

Writing is more than words on the page; it’s truth on the page.

Words that are someone’s truth, someone’s experience. It is the truth many aren’t willing to face. That’s where I come in.

I surrender truth to the page to see lives change. It allows people to see their lives differently. Often, it allows me to see myself differently.

Truth is a universal language that speaks to the soul. Hearing others’ truths allows us to come to terms with our own. And in that revelation, we can make a difference, not only in our lives, but in the lives of many. It’s a domino effect, after all.

Every one who writes doesn’t have the same purpose. And that’s okay. If my work doesn’t evoke change in someone in some facet, my job is not done. So I write with purpose, I write with responsibility. I write to awaken the soul.

Thank you to all who’ve read my work and to those who my words have yet to touch!

What say you?
